This is one of our favorite sandwich recipes.  It’s nice to have options besides just simple deli sandwiches or plain grilled cheese.

8 slices bread of your choice
4 slices mozzarella cheese (or you can use shredded….it’s just messier)
2 lg tomatoes, sliced
8 slices cooked bacon
4 T sour cream (optional)
1/2 t. oregano (I just sprinkle some over the tomato on each sandwich)
4 slices cheddar cheese
2 T butter

Layer ingredients on bread.  Spread butter on outside of sandwich.  Cook on medium hot griddle until browned and cheese is melted.
